Jest specjalistą chirurgii uszu, nosa, gardła i głowy i szyi. W 1974 r. ukończył Ankara Ataturk High School. Po ukończeniu rocznej klasy przygotowawczej z języka angielskiego w ODTU, uzyskał tytuł doktora medycyny na Uniwersytecie Hacettepe w Eskisehir.

W czerwcu 2008 r. został zatrudniony na Wydziale Medycznym Uniwersytetu Namika Kemala jako kierownik katedry laryngologii, kierownik katedry chirurgii medycznej i członek Wydziału Medycznego w Senacie Uniwersytetu. Zrezygnował w sierpniu 2010 r.

Prof. ukończył Izmir Eşrefpaşa High School w 1996 r. Dr Serdar KALEMCİ ukończył Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Medicine w 2003 r. W 2009 r. specjalizował się w Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Chest Diseases. Ukończył obowiązkową służbę w Şanlıurfa Suruç State Hospital w 2010 r.

W 2015 roku otrzymał tytuł profesora nadzwyczajnego, pracując na Wydziale Lekarskim Uniwersytetu Muğla, w Katedrze Chorób Klatki Piersiowej. Kalemci prowadzi badania kliniczne i eksperymentalne w dziedzinie Chorób Klatki Piersiowej.
