Catalina Blaga

Dr. Catalina Blaga is a dentist specialising in periodontology at Dental Premier clinic in Bucharest, Romania.

She diagnoses and treats periodontal disease, performs periodontal surgery and manages soft tissue around teeth and implants, including the treatment of gingival recession. She also uses laser therapy in periodontal treatment.

Her training includes international periodontology programmes: Perio Orto Synergy at the EFP Perio Master Clinic in Antwerp, the International Postgraduate Program at San Raffaele University in Milan, soft tissue management courses around teeth and implants in Milan and Florence, a course on gingival recession with Dr. Ricardo Kern and the Scientific Curriculum in Periodontology with Prof. Anton Sculean. She attended the biennial congress of the International Academy of Periodontology.

Within the clinic she works together with the implant and prosthetic team, since healthy gums and stable bone are the condition for long-term implant success. For patients treated with All-on-4 and All-on-6 protocols, periodontal assessment is part of the treatment plan.
