Ali Aydin Yavuz

Prof. Dr. Ali Aydın Yavuz is a radiation oncology professor. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1989 and received his specialization in Radiation Oncology in 1996. From 1997 to 2006, he served as the Head of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Karadeniz Technical University. He was an associate professor at KTU and Başkent University Faculty of Medicine from 2004 to 2009, and he was also the Head of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Başkent University. He served as the Chief Physician of Başkent University Adana Kışla Campus for 3 years. In 2009, he was granted the title of professor from Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine. He is active in abroad as well, Prof. Dr. Ali Aydın Yavuz gave the first oral presentations on behalf of Turkey at the ASCO congress in 1999 and the ASTRO congress in 2000. In 2008, he went to America for professional knowledge and experience and visited the Lung, Digestive System, Head and Neck, and Gynecological Cancer clinics of MD Anderson Cancer Center and gained new experiences. He served as a faculty member at the Department of Radiation Oncology at Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine from 2009 to 2018. Throughout his career, he has published many international articles.
