The Wieliczka Salt Mine Health Resort is an exceptional medical institution. The Resort provides medical services on the third level of the salt mine (135 m underground). This mine is famous for its unique microclimate: air is cleaned off the pollutions and enriched with microelements. The patients stay underground under care and supervision of medical staff.

Specialists of the Wieliczka Salt Mine Health Resort combine peculiarities of salt mine with innovative technologies to treat such diseases:
The Wieliczka Salt Mine is remarkable for the fact that a stable microclimate is maintained here, characterized by bacteriological air purity, steady temperature (about 10-12°С), high relative humidity (about 80%), and high content of sodium chloride solution (24 m /m3), and elements such as manganese, calcium, and magnesium.
In the S Wieliczka Salt Mine Health Resort, a unique method of subterraneotherapy is used. There are several possible options for health improvement and prevention:
- 21-day subscription, which includes the cost of comfortable living and three meals a day;
- the three-hour visit for a sightseeing tour in the Mine;
- "days of health" visit. It is held 2-3 times a month.
Medical Spa "Wieliczka" actively cooperates with the leading Polish research and scientific centers. It conducts training for top medical universities in Poland: Jagiellonian University and Medical College, Krakow Pedagogical University, Krakow Academy of Physical Culture.

Not far from Krakow, we got a taxi. Many people, the tour is boring and expensive. The receiver has lost communication. And in the end we were taken out to an incomprehensible place, we had to return to pick up things.

Patrimonio dell'UNESCO una visita da non perdere.Dopo la discesa dei 300 gradini in legno si apre il mondo dei minatori...questa miniera a differenza delle altre miniere (es.di carbone) rendeva l'aria salubre per l'uomo e per gli animali, come i cavalli che vivevano all'interno e aiutavano l' uomo all'estrazione del prezioso minerale utilizzato sia come moneta di scambio che per la conservazione del cibo.Spettacolare la cattedrale costruita interamente di sale ,compreso i lampadari dove ancora oggi, ogni domenica ,si svolgono delle funzioni religiose e concerti .Consiglio di acquistare i biglietti direttamente dal sito on-line scegliendo la visita guidata nella lingua che preferite... Assolutamente da non perdere!

Posto incredibile, un'opera iniziata nel 1300 e fermata solo nel 2010.300 km di gallerie rivestite in legno e Migliaia di opere d'arte di sale in stanze di sale. Da vedere assolutamente

A must-see place in Krakow. Since the salt is no longer present, this former mine has become a museum, as well as an underground gallery with sculptures. In particular, there are scenes from the lives of the royal family as well as their vassals. The area is very large, so you need to be careful, it is better to go with a guide. No wonder miners royal, you can read about it on the plates.

Very interesting surprising what is inside and how old the mines are. Sensible shoes are a must, toilets within mine and cafe at half way point. Amazing carvings and structures to secure shafts

Świetne miejsce! Byłem ze znajomymi i strasznie nam się podobało. Wysłałbym zdjęcia ale kumpel robił i jeszcze nie przesłał. Klimat genialny i wszystko zadbane. Sądzę, że każdy powinien się wybrać do kopalni Wieliczka ;)
