German Red Cross (Rotkreuz) is one of the most influential organizations in Germany. It owns the DRK Kliniken medical concern with 40 clinics in Germany.
The Frankfurter Rotkreuz-Kliniken e.V. appeared in 1992, as a result of the union of two large hospitals in Frankfurt:
- Klinik Rotes Kreuz (former Nursing Institute)
- Klinik Maingau (former hospital for single mothers and orphans).
The main specialties in the Hospital recently are cardiology, orthopedics, vascular surgery.
Cardiology Department
The Cardiology Department specializes in the minimally invasive cardiology. Doctors in the Department have performed over 50,000 catheter surgeries here.

Orthopedics Department
Orthopedists and traumatologists in the Clinic are the treating doctors of the national german Olympic team. They provide:

- surgery of the hand, foot, hip, knee, shoulder

Fantastic from start to finish. All staff were friendly, efficient, and ready to help with information and reassurance. The clinic is clean, comfortable, and professional. I can recommend this location for outpatient surgery.

The perfect hospital. I spent 4 days there and underwent surgery with Dr. Prof. E**. Room 410 on the 4th floor, elevator, beautiful view of the skyline. The room was huge with two beds. The bathroom is shared with the adjacent room with a shower and two sinks. There is also a safe in the room. The terrace is also shared with the adjacent room. Secured with a net. There is a table and chairs on the terrace. The hospital also provided him with cosmetics, pajamas and a towel. On the 4th floor there is a small room where you can meet guests and sit at a table. The rooms and the entire hospital were very clean. The entire staff is exceptionally nice, helpful, caring and always smiling. I have never experienced such nice service. I even met a lady from Poland who was nice to talk to. It felt like being in a hotel. Food - amazing. Very large selection, everything very tasty. Coffee and various types of tea in the corridor available 24 hours a day, as well as sparkling and still water. Prof. E. and the entire team simply do wonders. The only way to operate is there. You can't even see the scar, it was stitched perfectly as if it were plastic surgery. The anesthesiologists were very nice, it was nice to talk to them a few minutes before the surgery. Really all the staff perfect. I recommend this hospital and it is worth coming to it even from far away.
