I want to leave this review to try to help other couples trying to conceive through a fertility clinic, based on my experience in various places. At first, one feels quite lost when making decisions, and throughout the fertility process, one is often disappointed.
My recommendation is to go to the one you want, but one that offers a "pregnancy guarantee"—otherwise, you'll waste time, money, your mental health, and worst of all, the hope of having a child or giving birth to a sibling after previous children.
In the case of FIV Center, we arrived full of hope and optimism, even more so when we were referred by several different people...however, at the end of the treatment, we left completely disenchanted and with our spirits down.
I know there are people who have had success the first time and their comments are positive; for which I'm happy for them, but I speak from my personal experience over a whole year (which is a lot to say!).
It's true that going to a fertility clinic doesn't guarantee 100% success, but in our case, Dr. Caballero's advice and recommendations in the final stage of treatment weren't the most appropriate or sound.
After our consultations with several clinics, I believe that, once the diagnosis and results became more complicated, there was a lack of more personalized treatment and more empathy toward us (the clients). On the one hand, a process that could have been completed sooner and at a lower cost was delayed, and on the other hand, perhaps due to a lack of experience with similar cases, we opted for generic treatments, which gave us the feeling of having taken the easy route and the easy way out.
The inexperience of the patients and the fragility with which many of us arrive at these clinics cannot lead to breaking the trust that has been built up over the months (especially my wife's) and "directing" decisions without further consideration and attention to the couple's specific circumstances.
In any case, for all future parents, I want to end with a few words of hope: YES, WE CAN! We have finally achieved our goal of becoming parents again and having a "healthy" child. I encourage everyone to pursue your dream!
