Był pulmonologiem w Szpitalu Stanowym Dr. Yusuf Azizoğlu w Silvan, Diyarbakır od 2009 do 2010 r. Jest również autorem 7 artykułów opublikowanych w recenzowanych czasopismach i 12 prac konferencyjnych. Nadal jest członkiem Lung and Pleural Mignancies Study Group of Turkish Thoracic Society i Interventional Pulmonology Study Group of Turkish Respiratory Society.
