Urodził się w 1977 roku w Płowdiwie w Bułgarii. Po ukończeniu szkoły podstawowej i średniej ukończył studia licencjackie na Wydziale Stomatologicznym Uniwersytetu Marmara w 2001 roku. W tym samym roku rozpoczął studia doktoranckie na Wydziale Stomatologicznym Uniwersytetu Marmara, w Katedrze Chirurgii Jamy Ustnej i Szczękowo-Twarzowej. Po ukończeniu doktoratu w 2007 roku został profesorem nadzwyczajnym w 2011 roku, a profesorem w 2016 roku w tym samym wydziale.
