Dr. Meryem Eken is an obstetrician-gynecologist and IVF specialist. She earned her M.D. and completed her residency at Istanbul University. W tym samym roku rozpoczął studia doktoranckie na Wydziale Stomatologicznym Uniwersytetu Marmara, w Katedrze Chirurgii Jamy Ustnej i Szczękowo-Twarzowej. Po ukończeniu doktoratu w 2007 roku został profesorem nadzwyczajnym w 2011 roku, a profesorem w 2016 roku w tym samym wydziale. Od 2022 roku pracuje w Katedrze Chirurgii Jamy Ustnej i Szczękowo-Twarzowej na Wydziale Stomatologicznym Uniwersytetu Bahçeşehir.
